The Goddess Within is a women’s retreat in Costa Rica created as a space to step outside the routines, roles and expectations of everyday life and spend meaningful time listening to yourself.
Across nine days and eight nights, we bring together nature, movement, meditation, creative and intuitive practices, reflection, ritual, coaching and connection with other women.
The retreat is for women who want more than a beautiful place to rest. You may be at a point of transition, curious about a different way of relating to yourself, interested in personal growth, or simply aware that there are parts of you that have become quieter while life became increasingly full.
You do not need to arrive with a particular problem to solve, and you do not need previous experience with spirituality, psychology or retreats.
Your Self-discovery journey without a prescribed version of who you should become
A women’s retreat for self-discovery can mean different things to different women. For us, self-discovery is not about finding a new version of yourself to perform.
It is about becoming more conscious of what is already present: your desires, patterns, strengths, contradictions, creativity, relationships, intuition and ways of making choices.
Costa Rica gives us a natural setting in which to slow the usual pace down. Time in nature, shared experiences, quiet moments and movement become part of the retreat itself.

The Goddess Within also has a distinctive mythological thread: six Greek Goddess archetypes — Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hera, Persephone and Demeter. They offer a language for exploring different dimensions of feminine experience, rather than a system for deciding which kind of woman you are.

We create time to notice what is happening in your life now: what has changed, what matters, what you may be ready to question, and what you may want to make more space for.
The work is not about producing a particular answer. It is about creating enough space to hear your own questions more clearly.
Embodiment and movement
The body is not treated as something separate from self-understanding.
Through gentle movement, embodiment practices, music and other experiential work, we explore what can become visible when you pay attention to how you actually feel and move.
Meditation and inner attention
Meditation and contemplative practices provide opportunities to become quieter, observe your inner experience and step away from the constant demand to respond, organize and achieve.
Creativity and intuitive expression
Creative practices, including intuitive art, can open another way of exploring experience — one that does not depend entirely on explanation or analysis.
Creativity becomes a way of noticing, expressing and discovering rather than something that needs to be performed or perfected.
Nature and the senses
Costa Rica is part of the experience, not simply the backdrop.
We will spend time outdoors and include at least one excursion to a waterfall or hot springs, with the possibility of additional nature experiences depending on the final program.
The landscape, tropical environment, water, movement and time outside ordinary surroundings all become part of the rhythm of the retreat.

The Six Goddess Archetypes with a Woman
One of the central frameworks of The Goddess Within is the exploration of the six Greek Goddess archetypes: Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hera, Persephone and Demeter.
The archetypes can be understood as symbolic representations of different qualities and patterns that may be present in a woman’s life.
Athena can open questions around strategy, independence and the mind;
Artemis around autonomy, focus and freedom;
Aphrodite around creativity, pleasure, connection and desire;
Hera around commitment, partnership and relationship;
Persephone around receptivity, inner life and transitions; and
Demeter around care, nourishment and the relationship between giving and receiving.
The purpose is not to decide “which Goddess you are.”
A woman can recognize herself in several archetypes, experience different qualities at different stages of life, or notice that a quality that once served her well now needs to be balanced by something else.
The Goddess archetypes are therefore one lens through which we explore feminine identity, relationships, choices, desires, creativity and different stages of life.
A women’s wellness and personal growth retreat with room to breathe
The Goddess Within includes practices that support reflection and wellbeing, but it is not built around an intensive schedule in which every hour has to produce an outcome.
There will be meditation, embodiment, creative work, music and movement, ritual, coaching, intuitive practices and time in nature.
There will also be time to rest, read, walk, talk, be quiet, enjoy the environment and let the experience unfold without constantly turning it into another task.
We created a women’s wellness retreat in Costa Rica that has enough structure to support meaningful exploration and enough space for each participant to have her own experience.

Traveling to Costa Rica creates a physical change of context.
For a few days, ordinary schedules, familiar environments and daily obligations are no longer organizing every decision.

Maximum Group Size
The retreat is limited to 10 women.
The small group size allows the retreat to remain personal and creates space for meaningful connection, guided work and individual attention.
Location
The Goddess Within takes place at Borinquen Resort, in the Guanacaste area near Rincón de la Vieja, Costa Rica.
The resort offers a natural setting with access to hot springs, a sauna, a swimming pool and volcanic mud, creating an environment that complements the retreat experience.

Arrival Airport
The recommended airport is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Guanacaste.
Borinquen Resort is approximately one hour by road from the airport.
Group Airport Transfer
A shared group airport transfer is included in the retreat price.
The scheduled group transfer:
- Arrival: airport pick-up at 2:00 PM
- Departure: transfer from the retreat to the airport at 12:00 PM
If your flight arrives or departs at a different time, an individual transfer can be arranged for an additional $55 each way.
Payment Terms
At the time of reservation, 50% or 100% payment is required to secure your place.
If a 50% payment is made at reservation, the remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat date or at registration, whichever comes sooner.
Refund Policy
Payments are refundable up to 60 days before the retreat date, less a $150 processing fee.
Payments are non-refundable within 60 days of the retreat date.
Payment of the Remaining Balance
If a balance remains due upon arrival, the remaining payment is made in cash.

There is no charge or obligation. The purpose of the conversation is simply to create a personal connection before you decide whether this retreat feels right for you.
The call is also an opportunity for the facilitator to learn a little about you and make sure the retreat environment and format are appropriate for what you are looking for at this stage of your life.

Nina RadaRaNi
Nina RadaRaNi is a Transpersonal & Transformational Coach, Shamanic Practitioner, Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Reiki and Energy Practitioner, Access BARS® & Access Consciousness Practitioner, and Spiritual Life and Relationship Coach. Her work brings together different fields of transformational practice with a particular focus on self-discovery, relationships, embodiment, feminine experience, and conscious living.
Her path has been shaped by years of professional training as well as a personal exploration of spirituality, psychology, healing traditions, and different approaches to human transformation. Rather than following one single method, Nina works intuitively, drawing from the practices and perspectives that are most relevant to the person and the moment.
She is also the creator of The Goddess Within and has developed this retreat as an experiential space where women can explore different dimensions of themselves through conversation, practice, reflection, creativity, movement, nature, and connection with other women.
Nina’s role is not to tell participants who they are or what their lives should look like. She facilitates the process, holds the space, asks questions, introduces different perspectives and practices, and accompanies each woman as she explores her own experience.
Nina is the primary facilitator of The Goddess Within. Some additional practices may be led by separate experienced practitioners, depending on the particular group of women coming together for each retreat. These may include music, dance, Kundalini Yoga, or other complementary practices, with the choice of practitioners and practices made according to the character and needs of that specific group.
